Jackson, MI — Our very own world-renowned Cascades has recently had a facelift with the removal of the big wall, and additional improvements continue to be made.
It may not look like much now, but a whole new dimension of family-friendly fun is coming to the Cascades next summer.
This area, just outside where the south entrance to the Cascades currently exists, will be home to a long-anticipated Splash Pad Aquatic Park. The finished product will include above-ground water spray features and a zero-depth surface that will be suitable for children of all ages.
Just imagine a way more fun version of running through the sprinkler on a really hot day, in the scenery one of Jackson’s most beautiful parks.
Next spring we’ll start to really see the transformation take place as the play components will be added and the final structure will start to be revealed.
The grand opening is slated for late June 2017, according to a press release… and we can’t wait to splash!
