Ella Sharp Museum announces reopening plans

Jackson, MI — Ella Sharp Museum has announced that they will reopen to members only beginning July 21, and the general public on July 24 after a temporary closure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Capacities will be limited as they prioritize health and safety at the museum. Operating hours will be Tuesdays through Sundays from Noon until 5pm, with a closure from Noon until 12:30pm each day for cleaning. Collection tours and house tours will remain closed.

Ella Sharp Museum has implemented “4 Steps for a Safe and Healthy Visit,” outlined below.

Step 1: Social Distancing
Maintain 6 feet or more between yourself, staff and other guests.
Step 2: MASKS & FACE COVERINGS
Face masks are required in all indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as during the
ticketing and admission process.
Step 3: CLEAN AND SAFE
Comprehensive (and consistent) cleaning procedures are in place, so you can enjoy
your visit with peace of mind.
Step 4: WASH YOUR HANDS
Keep the health of all guests in mind. Please thoroughly wash your hands during your
visit.
Ella Sharp Museum asks that anyone experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or having been exposed to someone with COVID-19 refrain from visiting the museum.
