Although physically closed, Ella Sharp Museum is adapting to the COVID-19 Pandemic by offering virtual tours and classes.
One such class is a Virtual Ceramics Class with instructor Romelle Frey at 7pm April 23. The class is $20 for members or $30 for non-members, and the clay you need for this project may be picked up or delivered. Students must have access to a smartphone or computer and classes will be conducted via Zoom.
Ella Sharp Museum is also offering Virtual Night Sky Tours by request. These tours show what is currently in your night sky, when to look for it, and the easiest ways to observe. Programming will be personalized for the guest of honor, if these are for birthdays or special occasions.
Ella Sharp is also asking for your COVID-19 stories to include in future exhibits that show what Jackson experienced during this Pandemic. Journals, personal stories, pictures, thought pieces, and correspondence from your work or business are being accepted. Click here for more information.
