33 year-old Michigan State Police Trooper Caleb Starr was laid to rest in Mason, Saturday.
Trooper Starr died after this patrol vehicle was struck head-on by an accused drunk driver. He was one month shy of serving two years with the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post.
A vehicle procession of family, friends and officers from multiple agencies traveled from Trooper Starr’s hometown near Lansing through Mason.
Trooper Starr lived in Mason with his wife and two daughters, 5 and 2 years-old.
