Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT) has announced that multiple roads in Columbia Charter Township are scheduled to be closed to through traffic for berm removal, milling, and paving.
Road closures are upcoming for Cannes Ct., Cannes Dr., High View Ct., Kelley Rd., Riviera Ct., Riviera Dr., Southern Shores, and Victoria Dr. in Columbia Charter Township according to the department.
These closures begin at Southern Shores on Wednesday (May 13) and will remain in place until construction is complete. At this time, county officials say there is no estimated completion date.
During construction, the roads will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained for local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail carriers, and garbage services.
Since no detour routes will be posted, officials are encouraging drivers to plan ahead, seek alternative routes, and expect potential delays in the area.
