Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Accelerate Jackson County (formerly The Enterprise Group) has announced the hiring of a new Director of Economic and Community Development in Marcia Gebarowski.
Gebarowski spoke with WKHM about the role, and why she is excited to take the position.
Her previous experiences at the MEDC, Ann Arbor SPARK, and as DDA of the City of East Lansing is part of the reason why President / CEO Keith Gillenwater believes she makes a great addition to AJC.
Gebarowski discussed the short-term responsibilities that she expects to perform that will contribute to Accelerate Jackson being able to achieve its big picture goals.
Gebarowski is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and studied Urban Planning at Wayne State University.
