Senator Sue Shink comments on the latest bills in Michigan legislature

Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Marc W. Daly) — It’s been a flurry of bills in the Michigan legislature during the lame duck session. A bi-partisan piece of legislation passed in both chambers that would expand the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission to include children accused of serious crime. Senator Sue Shink explains.

Also, legislation passed the Senate that would require the DNR to develop a hunter and firearm safety course to be provided to schools.
