Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a class to get lifeguards certified ahead of the summer 2024 season at Nixon Water Park.
The three-session class, which is open to those 15 and older who want to work at Nixon or another facility, is happening Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2 at the Jackson High School Aquatic Center at 544 Wildwood Ave.
- Friday, May 31, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, June 1, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday, June 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested may register at cityofjackson.org or in-person at the Parks & Recreation Department, 5th floor of City Hall, 161 W. Michigan Ave. Registration is $100 and questions may be directed to Alexa Markham, 517-990-6289.
