Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — This past Sunday, 15-year-old Carter Miller was with friends at his home on Maple Street when a gun was discharged and now Miller is dead. Accidental or not, the question is: what are kids doing with loaded guns?

One topic we addressed this week on WKHM with Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney, just coming off the Summit to Reduce Violence:

Mahoney told WKHM he has tasked his friends at City Hall to come up with a road fan that may ease the burden on property owners and businesses:

Mahoney said when it comes to public comment, he takes it all in — the good and the bad. His mission is to serve all citizens. Mayor Mahoney joins WKHM Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. on WKHM — Jackson’s NewsTalk 970AM/101.5FM, also streaming live online at WKHM.com or on your Alexa-enabled device.
