The Michigan House is on Easter break this week. Last week we discussed a couple pieces of legislation with State Representative Kathy Schmaltz. Among them, a plan to enhance all schools Cardiac Response Plan which would include defibrillators. Kathy explains where the money could come from to support this plan.
Another set of proposed bills could allow for early release of prisoners. Kathy called this terrible legislation with the possibility of violent individuals getting back on the street.
