At first the Lumen Christi Titans were down 14-0 Sunday morning at Ford Field in the championship game but the team rallied behind tremendous play from their offensive line and an amazing performance by Kadale Williams who had 27 carries for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns and the Titans went on to win the big game to become the Division 7 State Champions for the second year in a row. The Titans beat Menominee 34-30. Lumen has now tied Farmington Hills Harrison (No longer in existence) with the most championships in Michigan High School Athletics history with 13 total, 11 in total for current Titan Coach Brogan. The late Jim Crowley won titles in 1977 and 1979.
