The Hot Air Jubilee, scheduled for July 23-26, 2020 in Jackson, Michigan, has been postponed to next year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the 2020 Hot Air Jubilee that was initially scheduled for July 23-26, 2020 has been postponed until July 22-25, 2021.
After much evaluation, discussion, and careful consideration we have made the difficult decision not to move forward with the 2020 event. We know that long-standing traditions are needed now more than ever, but given the reality of COVID-19, our highest priority is the health and safety of our guests, participants, staff, volunteers, and community. We are confident our sponsors will stand with us, the pilots and vendors will return, and the community will once again enjoy the Hot Air Jubilee next year if we are fiscally responsible now.
While some of the restrictions are beginning to ease, there are still too many uncertainties to guarantee, without hesitation, the health and safety of our community and the thousands of people that gather at Ella Sharp Park for our event. We also reached the point in our planning where the obligations to our sponsors, pilots, vendors, and other partners required the attention they deserve to make their own business decisions. During this period of time, we simply cannot promise the level of event that our community and sponsors have come to expect and love.
The Hot Air Jubilee greatly appreciates the support of our community. We are excited to announce that American 1 Credit Union will continue to be the title sponsor of our 2021 event. American 1 Credit Union, Hammond Propane and Ella Sharp Museum have all committed to next year’s event and we will work diligently with all sponsors to make next year’s event better than ever. We appreciate all our sponsors, volunteers, and community and are committed more than ever to continue our planning and come back strong in 2021.
