Jackson Public Schools Announces Personnel News

Jackson Public Schools recently announced a pair of personnel moves.

Todd Frey has been named assistant director of operations.  Frey, who grew up in Grass Lake, previously had a relationship with JPS as a mechanical contractor.  Frey has 19 years of experience with HVAC and owned a local mechanical contracting business for 12 years.

Frey said, “I am honored to have this opportunity to utilize my experience as a mechanical contractor in a capacity which allows me to lead change and provide guidance where I can within Jackson Public Schools.”

 

Travis Baker has been named as the new varsity girls soccer coach.  Baker, who coached the junior varsity girls from 2015 to 2017 says, “the opportunity to work with the Jackson high School girls program is exciting to me after having previously worked in the program.”
