The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Fire Weather Watch until 8pm tonight for the entire Jackson Radio Works listening area. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Winds Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph paired with relative humidity as low as 15 percent, and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s have created conditions where fires could occur. As such the National Weather Service recommends avoiding any outdoor burning.
