They are not right next to the door\, so there is a bit of a walk. Note that there is no valet parking available for this event.\nSeating- There is handicapable seating and companion seats available about 4 rows from the front near our side entrance (which one of our greeters can point you to) and there are also a lot more options in the back row. There is space for wheelchairs and it is easy to maneuver a wheelchair next to a companion seat. Companion seats have chairs available to sit in\, while handicapped seats are open areas to maneuver your own wheelchair into. Alert a staff member if you need assistance. We are here for you! If you don’t need a handicapped seat\, but need to avoid going down steps or need to have less steps to get to your seat\, choosing a seat towards the back is best. There are wide walkways that have steps with railings that can help you move farther towards the stage. Our ushers would also be happy to help you to a seat that would work well for you\, but please note we can only accommodate a seat switch to unsold seats\, so please choose a seat wisely. If you have questions regarding the best options for yourself or your party\, please do not hesitate to call the box office for assistance.\nElevators- The elevators are located through the lobby and down the hallway in the back of the lobby. The main floor seats for the concert is on floor 2 or it may also be marked “mezzanine”. This concert features the softer wind instruments from our orchestra performing as a small ensemble/chamber group. After 5pm\, parking is free with no time restrictions\, and before 5pm\, free 2-hour parking is available. Marked accessible parking spaces are located on Michigan Ave and Jackson Street within view of the venue. Valet parking is not available. You may unload in the alley next to the building and then immediately move your vehicle to a parking spot if that is easier. Only staff or others quickly unloading may park in the alley. \n𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙩: Sidewalks in downtown Jackson are wide and gently sloped for easy access. The venue’s doors have automatic push buttons\, and the hallways inside are spacious and wheelchair-friendly. Weatherwax Hall is on the ground floor\, so no stairs or elevators are required. Balcony seating is available but accessible only by stairs. \n𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: Seating is set up as individual chairs arranged in rows\, but there are also carpet squares and open spaces without chairs available. All seats are moveable\, and volunteers or staff can assist in making room for wheelchairs. Volunteers will be at the ready to address any seating needs\, but the space will be set up so all kinds of seating will be available. \n𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨: You won’t need an elevator since everything\, including restrooms\, is on the ground floor.
