Thursday, September 2, just before 8PM, Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a vehicle crashed into a tree on Norvell Road in Grass Lake Charter Township.
The driver, a Jackson County man, was found ejected from the vehicle. The man was sent to Henry Ford Allegiance Health with non-life threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.
Police say that the vehicle was travelling south on Norvell Road when it left the roadway and struck the tree. The driver was ejected on impact. The vehicle rolled into a small nearby river.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Police believe that alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
