An officer-involved shooting Saturday in Flint during a Juneteenth celebration parade left a 19 year-old woman dead after she allegedly fired at an officer from her vehicle.
It happened just after 2PM. Police say the woman drove up to a Flint police officer who was working at a traffic point near the parade and shot at him. The officer returned fire, hitting the suspect.
The suspect was taken to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
The police officer was not hit by gunfire and no bystanders were injured.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
