2026 Jackson County Fair Runs Through Saturday, Celebrates America 250

Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Fair has returned for 2026 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds with another year of free parking.

Emily Thomas with the Jackson County Parks Department discussed how the fair week began on Sunday with Agriculture Day.

 

Sunday’s events wrap up with a rodeo performance at the grandstand beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The following day is Senior Day Monday, with those 65 years and older getting in for free, and special Senior events beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Monday’s grandstand event is the ATR Monster Trucks show.

 

For those looking to take advantage of a good deal for the Fair, Tuesday features $5 admission for all, as well as $2 rides.

Pop Night takes the stage on the grandstand on Tuesday evening.

 

Wednesday is Superhero Day, where anyone who dresses up as a superhero to the fair will receive a free snow cone.

The grandstand will host a worship night on Wednesday beginning at 6:30 p.m.

 

The fair will celebrate veterans and America 250 on Thursday, with a patriotic parade starting at 6:00 p.m. that will lead into a rifleman and drone show, as well as those who served this country receiving free admission throughout the day.

Thursday is also the day for the 4-H large animal auction.

 

Friday’s fair festivities include the K105.3 karaoke contest beginning at 5:00 p.m., and the Wolverine Tractor/Truck Pulls at the grandstand at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday is the final day of the 2026 Jackson County Fair, with things ending off with the TNT Demolition Derby.
