Jackson, MI (WKHM) — This weekend, Friday June 5 through Sunday June 7, is NASCAR race weekend out at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn, Michigan.
MIS track President Joe Fowler said that while the first race begins on Friday, preparations and excitement are already happening in the Irish Hills.
On Friday, the ARCA Menards Series race begins at 5:00 p.m., the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics on Saturday starts at 1:30 p.m. followed by qualifying for the Cup Series, and the FireKeepers Casino 400 takes place on Sunday starting at 3:00 p.m.
There are plenty of festivities taking place throughout the weekend beyond the races, including infield concerts.
There is also a 21 years and older meet-and-greet with driver Denny Hamlin, the winner of the 2025 FireKeepers Casino 400, at FireKeepers Casino on Saturday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, the same day as a meet-and-greet with driver Austin Cindric at the Discount Tire in Brooklyn at 10:00 a.m.
Fowler also commented on the recent multi-year extension of FireKeepers as the naming rights partner for the Cup Series race at MIS.
