Jackson, MI (WKHM) — An estimated 9-day construction project on US-127 over M-50 in Jackson is scheduled to begin on the morning of Tuesday, May 26.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) says they will begin an epoxy overlay project on US-127 over M-50 beginning at 7:00 a.m. on that day.
The project currently has an estimated end date of Wednesday, June 3.
MDOT says this project will require intermittent single-lane closures in the work zone to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
The department hopes that the improvements will provide drivers with a safer, smoother ride. Drivers are advised to expect delays.
