Last Two Suspects Arrested in Relation to Hanover-Horton Area Armed Robbery

Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Authorities with the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff (JCSO) say that the final two suspects allegedly involved with an armed robbery in the Hanover-Horton area back in February have been arrested.

County Sheriff Gary Schuette announced that the two suspects sought in connection with the February 24 armed robbery have been taken into custody, effectively concluding the search for the individuals involved in this violent incident.

Following an intensive investigation and widespread public appeal, Richie Jimenez was successfully apprehended near Olivet College on April 2.

On April 6, the final suspect, James Goodall, was also taken into custody at Foxfire Apartments on Robinson Road in Jackson.

Both men were arrested on high-priority felony warrants, including Armed Robbery, Larceny from a Building, and Larceny of Firearms.

These final arrests were made through a coordinated effort between the JCSO and the Michigan State Police (MSP) Fugitive Team.

Four other suspects were previously apprehended in March.

“The successful conclusion of this operation is a testament to the power of collaboration and the unwavering resolve of our law enforcement community,” Sheriff Gary Schuette said in a statement. “I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team and all our law enforcement partners for their specialized assistance and tireless work in locating these individuals.”

Sheriff Schuette also emphasized the critical role played by local residents. “To the members of our community who remained vigilant and provided the tips that led us to these suspects: thank you. Your partnership is invaluable. By working together, we have sent a clear message that those who threaten the safety of Jackson County families will be held accountable. This outcome is a victory for public safety and the justice our citizens deserve.”

All six suspects involved in this case have now been apprehended and are awaiting further legal proceedings.
