Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Martin Luther King Corridor Improvement Authority (MLK-CIA) has announced the date and time for its annual Business Resource Fair. The fair is happening on January 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the MLK Center located at 1107 Adrian Street.
The fair brings business resource technicians and experts together under one roof in order to provide in-person, hands-on training for current business owners and future entrepreneurs.
New and experienced business owners, as well as business support organizations, are encouraged to participate and share their collective knowledge to help Jackson businesses with their endeavors.
City of Jackson Chief Equity Officer and MLK-CIA Board member John Willis described the Jackson Business Resource Fair as “a space where vendors, providers, and community members connect to build opportunity.”
Willis says the MLK-CIA is expanding access to resources and investments for Jackson businesses and neighborhoods through the launch of their new e-Fund application.
Anthony Parker of the MLK-CIA board said, “We want to make sure that the people in our community who are starting or growing their business, have the right tools to be successful.”
More information about the event, including a guide on how to register for the Business Resource Fair, can be found on the MLK-CIA’s website or by clicking here.
