SPRING ARBOR, Mich. (WKHM) — Spring Arbor University has announced a new partnership with Grass Lake Community Schools — the first in the university’s new Deep Roots Direct Admission Program.

The agreement, signed Monday at Grass Lake High School, guarantees direct admission to SAU for seniors who meet the school’s academic requirements, streamlining the college enrollment process and offering added support and scholarship opportunities.

SAU President Dr. Brent Ellis says the program is designed to help students grow academically and spiritually while staying connected to their local communities.

Grass Lake Superintendent Dr. Nick Angel calls the partnership a major step in opening new doors for students’ futures.

Spring Arbor University plans to expand the Deep Roots Direct Admission Program to other Michigan schools in the coming months.
