Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Office of the Sheriff has reported an in-custody death that occurred on Thursday, August 7 at approximately 2 p.m.
An adult inmate, identified by authorities as 25-year-old Jackson resident Darion Depari Jackson, was found deceased in their cell from what authorities say is an apparent suicide.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Jackson City Police Department, and officials say more details will be released when available. The Sheriff’s Office says their thoughts are with Jackson’s family and loved ones.
