Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened Monday, June 24, shortly after 12:00 noon. The accident occurred in Pulaski Township. Deputies confirmed the motorcycle was travelling west on Howard Rd. near Eckert Rd. and lost control, left the road, and hit a tree.
Killed was 75-year-old Richard Haire from Jackson. Haire was not wearing a helmet. Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor. The investigation continues.
