Jackson, Mich. — Police have released the name of an 18-year-old male who passed away following a shooting Thursday evening around 7:30 in the 800 block of N. Waterloo. The victim has been identified as Taray Suddeth. Suddeth was in a vehicle and was shot in the upper back. He was then rushed to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital where he was pronounced dead later in the evening.
Jackson police say witnesses identified two people running from the scene on foot. Blackman Public Safety assisted Jackson Police in a search Thursday night that proved unsuccessful.
