Jackson, Mich. – K105.3’s Fall Fest & Chili Classic, presented by Tripp’s Collision, Bud Light, County National Bank, and Monster Motors, will return for its second year on Michigan Ave. in downtown Jackson on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from Noon until 8:30 pm.

With the event quickly approaching, McKibbin Media Group (MMG) is pleased to announce its live entertainment lineup for the fall occasion.

The main stage, sponsored by Harvest Solar, will feature local blues musician Kevin Nichols from Noon until 2 p.m. during the Chili Classic. Your Generation in Concert will be headlining the festival this year from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. followed by fireworks in the heart of downtown Jackson courtesy of Tripp’s Collision.

Your Generation in Concert is an 8-piece band celebrating five decades of pop, rock, dance, and R&B hits. All musical performances taking place during the Fall Fest & Chili Classic are free to attend.

New for 2022 is the addition of a second stage where acoustic performances will be held throughout the day in Bucky Harris Park by country artists Todd Michael and Pete Johnson, Kaylyn Pace, Whiskey and Wine, and returning Fall Fest ‘21 artist Jason Cross. The Power Cow stage, named for McKibbin Media Group’s country music station 95.9 The Power Cow, is sponsored by Monster Motors.

“Having live entertainment in downtown Jackson for this event is important, so we felt that adding more music to the 2022 event was necessary based on the feedback from our listeners and sponsors. To have an accomplished group like Your Generation headline the Fall Fest and Chili Classic will be wonderful and adding a Power Cow/country music stage this year with local talent [some now living in Nashville] will give the event even more music for patrons to enjoy. It will be a fun, music-filled day,” said McKibbin Media Group President and Owner Katina McKibbin.

The festival, which is free to attend, consists of a Chili competition which anyone may enter, a variety of vendors, free kids’ activities including petting zoo and pony rides, live music performances throughout the day, and fireworks. Chili contest applications are now being accepted. To apply to participate in the Chili Classic or reserve a vendor space, contact Ashley Smith: asmith@k1053.com or visit K1053.com/fallfest.
