Gus Macker, a three on three basketball competition that has become an annual fixture in downtown Jackson, runs Friday through Sunday on Michigan Ave and Jackson Street.
County National Bank, Art Moehn Chevrolet and Art Moehn Chevrolet are amongst the major sponsors for this year’s event. According to Kyle Liechty, the Co-Executive Director of the Jackson Gus Macker, there are still slots available for last minute teams. Those interested should head to Macker.com and select Jackson, MI when prompted.
Games will be played throughout the weekend in downtown with Saturday featuring a slam dunk contest that begins at 12:30 and a free throw competition beginning at 1pm. For a full schedule of events, visit Macker.com.
Gus Macker was the first major event to return last summer after COVID 19 and will celebrate its 4th year in 2022.
