JACKSON, MI- A 40 year old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing that occurred after 3 am on Sunday morning.
27 year old Taylin Alexander was fatally stabbed after a brief altercation inside of a building in the 2100 block of Wildwood Avenue. Police do not currently know a motive behind the attack. The name of the suspect has been withheld until an arraignment is scheduled.
Alexander, a 2012 graduate of Jackson High School was Owner of ‘Detail Bros’, a car detailing business. A Gofundme page was set up for Alexander to help family pay for funeral expenses. It has already surpassed the original goal of $10,000. In addition, a fundraising event will take place on Saturday, March 5th from 11 am – 2 pm in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company on Springport Road. Hot dogs and lemonade will be available. Money raised will to go towards any additional expenses.
