3 Students Dead, 6 Injured In Oxford High School Shooting

OXFORD, MI – A 15 year old sophomore is in custody after more than 100 calls were received to emergency dispatch in Oxford just before 1 pm on Tuesday when shots were fired inside Oxford High School which resulted in 3 students dead with 6 others, including 1 teacher injured.  Authorities believe 15-20 rounds were fired out of the suspects firearm, and the suspect was taken into custody within minutes of the shootings.

The shootings have caught the attention of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer who said “As Michiganders, we have a responsibility to do everything we can to protect each other from gun violence,” as well as The White House with Press Secretary Jen Psaki who confirmed President Joe Biden has been made aware of the situation, and will follow updates as they emerge.

Multiple Agencies including The Oakland County Sheriffs Department, EMS, and SWAT team were deployed to the school.  At last update, the suspect has chose to invoke their right to remain silent about what happened. We will follow this story for more updates as they are available.
