Friday, Jackson County District Judge Joseph Filip bound Zacharie Scott Borton over to trial on three murder charges.
Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sergeant Bryan Huttenlocker testified that the bullets recovered from autopsy matched the two firearms used in the shooting deaths of 70 year-old Michael Pauli and 70 year-old John Kantzler.
80 year-old Delmar Fraley was the third victim in the Grass Lake triple homicide.
Borton was arraigned August 24 on 3 charges of open murder as well as other charges related to the fatal shootings.
Borton is set to appear before Circuit Court Judge John McBain with a court date to be determined.
