COVID-19 numbers fall 7 straight weeks, MI

COVID-19 cases have fallen for seven weeks straight in the state of Michigan.

Saturday, Michigan reported 445 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, as well as 49 deaths. 48 of those deaths came from a review of past death certificates.

Last Saturday, there were 1,013 new cases reported.

In total, the state has had 887,719 cases and 19,613 deaths.

58.6% of Michigan’s population ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of COVID vaccination.
