A Clark Lake home was destroyed by a Christmas tree fire, Wednesday night. It happened just before 11PM on Vining Street.
The family’s Christmas tree was the source of the fire. The fire quickly spread to multiple floors by the time emergency crews were able to arrive.
Numerous area emergency crews worked to put out the flames and protect neighboring homes from the fire. The second floor collapsed making it difficult for firefighters to access the multiple layers of burning debris.
The home is a total loss.
