There were 8,080 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the state of Michigan, Saturday, according to health officials, with an additional 103 deaths.
70 of those deaths were found through a review of recent death records.
Michigan’s new total for confirmed cases to date is around 350,000, with just over 9,000 deaths. The COVID fatality rate in the state 2.6%.
To date, there have been over 165,000 confirmed recoveries.
