McKibbin Media Group is proud to highlight our employees, and share with you all the hard work that happens behind the scenes! This week’s employee highlight features Doug Hanson.
Doug is a senior sales executive and has been with us for 24 years! He helps businesses grow and works to increase their sales with the power of radio. His favorite part of the job is working with business owners, managers, and marketing personnel – and the staff he considers family at the radio station.
Some of Doug’s many hobbies include travel, fishing, biking, and skiing. He is very proud of his 21-year-old daughter, Chloe, who attends Lansing College (pictured below).
Although you’ve likely seen him out and about in Jackson, something you might not know about Doug is that he is a member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) since 1980, and has helped around 8,000 students with their golf game, and has 2 former students playing on the PGA tour! Another fun fact: Doug was also his senior class president at Jackson High School ’72.
