Jackson County Fair Postponed Until 2021

There will be no Jackson County Fair in 2020.  The announcement was made in a post to the Jackson County Fair Facebook Page:

2020 Jackson County Fair Postponed to 2021 With Entertainment Line-up Intact

We find ourselves in unprecedented times and it is with heavy hearts that the Jackson County Fair Board has made the difficult decision to postpone its 2020 fair to next year, August 8th – 14th, 2021.

The safety and health of the community, guests, volunteers and staff are of the greatest importance to the Jackson County Fair. With this priority in mind together with the uncertainty that it will be safe to gather and celebrate by mid-August, the decision to postpone has been made.

The Jackson County Fair is thrilled to announce that all of its 2020 performers, including country music superstar, Toby Keith, beloved Contemporary Christian music band, MercyMe, and America’s favorite southern rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, who will be performing the final year of their Farewell Tour in 2021, have all committed to return to the Jackson County Fair in 2021.

Next years line-up will be:

Sunday, August 8th, 2021 – TOBY KEITH
Monday, August 9th, 2021 – MERCYME
Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 – LYNYRD SKYNYRD

For those who purchased tickets and wish to return their tickets, the Fair is offering a thirty (30) day window to do so in order to receive a refund.

The final day to receive a refund for any tickets purchased in 2020 will be on Thursday, July 2nd. Tickets can be refunded by going online to www.etix.com or by calling 1-800-514-3849.

Tickets purchased for the 2020 Jackson County Fair will be honored for the rescheduled 2021 dates noted above.

We are working closely with MSU Extension to provide a virtual project showcase opportunity to our 4-H and FFA youth exhibitors. Details will be provided in the near future

We can also assure you the 2 big celebrations that have been in the works for 2020, the Grand Opening of the new Keeley Park and the 100th Anniversary of our iconic Grandstands, will be even bigger in 2021.

The Jackson County Fair looks forward to seeing everyone August 8th through 14th, 2021 when we can all sing “Red Solo Cup”, “I Can Only Imagine”, “Free Bird”, and so many more in a safe, healthy and happy environment.
