Longtime Jackson attorney Wendell Jacobs, Jr. died Wednesday due to complications from a pulmonary embolism.
After a period of time in the prosecutors office, Jacobs teamed up with lawyer Jerry Engle. They formed the highly respected firm of Jacobs & Engle in Jackson.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date. Wendell Jacobs Jr. was 74 years old.
