State and Local COVID-19 Update for Tuesday, April 7

As of Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, there have been 117 cumulative cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County, and still 4 related deaths, according to the Jackson County Health Department.

There have been 1,749 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the State of Michigan since yesterday and 118 deaths in the state, bringing the total number of cases that Michigan has seen to 18,970 and 845 total deaths.

According to Henry Ford Allegiance Health, as of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, there are 38 individuals with positive COVID-19 results who are inpatients at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. An additional 12 persons under investigation are hospitalized at HFAH.
