Jerrell Sanders of Blackman Township pleaded not guilty to a charge of Criminal Sexual Contact with a Minor. Sanders formerly coached basketball at East Jackson High School. East Jackson School District says the juvenile, who is reportedly 15, is not a basketball player at EJ.
East Jackson Superintendent Steve Doer said he was shocked by the news an will initiate an internal investigation even though the victim was not an EJ student.
