The driver of a pickup who rear ended a garbage truck, killing a sanitation worker last September in Columbia Township was charged Tuesday with one misdemeanor count of moving violation causing death. 56-year-old Kenneth Eggleston said that blinding sunlight hindered his vision when he rear ended the garbage truck, pinning 27-year-old Justin David Pratt between the two vehicles. Pratt died later that day. Eggleston faces up to a year in jail, a $2,000 fine, or both.
