Serial Abuser to Serve 15-30 Years

25-year-old Camryn Locash was sentenced Wednesday to serve 15-30 years in prison after being convicted on multiple domestic violence charges in August. The charges stem from an assault investigation by the Michigan State Police in which investigators discovered that over an eight month period, Locash choked, kicked, restrained and assaulted the victim on multiple occasions. During the sentencing hearing, prosecutors cited the long history Locash has of abusing women, with nine domestic abuse cases on his record beginning when he was a teenager. Prosecutors requested a long sentence arguing the justice system has shown him leniency in the past and it has not seemed to affect his behavior.
