With as many sunny and hot days as we’ve had so far this summer, it’s important to be aware of the damage the sun can do to your skin, and how to keep yourself protected.
Austin Brown from Brown’s Advanced Care Pharmacy says that sun exposure is good, but in moderation. “Don’t burn, make sure you’re using a good sunscreen.” Brown said.
Brown also recommends seeing a doctor if you notice moles or freckles change in size, shape, or color; or if your skin experiences abnormal discoloration.
