With CP Federal Credit Union gearing up to enter the Washtenaw County financial scene; we spoke to CP’s President Chrissy Siders about why they looked to Saline for expansion.

“Saline is a community that matches our motto,” Siders said. “We’re super excited to be going in there.”

In our interview, Siders mentioned the “credit union difference”. We asked her to expand on that. “We are member-owned, so regardless of the dollar amount you have in our credit union, you have an equal vote for our board of directors and you own the credit union.” she said.

Siders has served as CP Federal Credit Union’s President for over a year now, replacing legendary CP figurehead John Crist. “It’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my life.” Siders said.
