On Monday, Jackson County announced the availability of a new mobile app giving access to the County’s website. The app is available for Apple and Android products. The intention is to make the County’s website user friendly from a mobile device.
According to County Administrator Mike Overton says “Over 50% of the County’s website visitors utilize mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. The app will provide an easier way to access County information.”
With the app, users can subscribe to county news feeds, find bid opportunities, view County calendars, see employment opportunities, make online payments, report issues such as pot holes, view County social media, access 211 services, and more.
