DPS Uses New Equipment To Save Dog

Wednesday officers from the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety responded to a home on Whipple Road to rescue a dog. 

Director Mike Jester told WKHM this gave their department an opportunity to use a brand new piece of equipment.

The dog was taken by Animal Control and is being treated for hyperthermia.  Jester explains this was a valuable training opportunity for them.
