Wednesday morning officers from the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety responded to an accident where a 14 year old girl and a 15 year old girl were stuck by an SUV.
Deputy Director Jon Johnston told WKHM the accident happened at the main drive of the Springport Glenn Apartments.
Johnston said the two girls were wearing dark clothing and were crossing in an area that was not well lit. Johnston reminds our listeners to be careful during your morning commute.
The department has yet to finalize their investigation.
