Major Ice Tournament Cancelled One of the North America’s largest ice fishing competitions The Midwest Open Ice Tournament has been cancelled.  Tom Knutson of Knutson Sporting Goods in Brooklyn gave the bad news this weekend on ESPN Radio 1450 WIBM. Plate Sent To Hospital, Suspect Arrested 41 Year old Scott Plate is in critical condition at U of M following an assault Friday in front of the Interfaith Shelter in Jackson.  WKHM spoke with Deputy Police Chief John Holda about Friday’s attack.
