TWO STATE CORRECTIONS OFFICERS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED AND MAY END UP LOSING THEIR JOBS.  THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS SAYS BOTH OFFICERS WORK AT THE G. ROBERT COTTON FACILITY IN JACKSON.

WEST AVE.  OFFICERS ARRESTED 2 MALES AND A FEMALE FROM THE CITY OF DETROIT AND FOUND ABOUT 10 GRAMS OF HEROIN.

GAS PRICES LOWER


AAA MICHIGAN REPORTS THAT GAS PRICES DROPPED FOR THE THIRD WEEK IN A ROW.  MICHIGAN'S CURRENT STATEWIDE AVERAGE IS $3.63 PER GALLON WHICH IS ABOUT $0.03 LOWER THAN LAST WEEK AND ABOUT $0.21 LOWER THAN THAN THIS SAME TIME LAST YEAR.  THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR SELF-SERVE DECREASED ABOUT $0.11 IN METRO DETROIT OVER THE PAST WEEK, WITH THE AVERAGE PRICE IN DETROIT MATCHING
