Officer James Bonneau Honor Passes the House

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to honor Jackson police officer James Bonneau who was killed in the line of duty four years ago.  The House passed a bill naming the post office on Michigan Ave after officer Bonneau.  Bonneau was shot in March of 2010 responding to a domestic dispute call.  He was able to radio for help to save the life of Blackman Township officer Darin McIntosh who was also shot in the incident.  Congressman Tim Walberg sponsored the bill, which now goes before the U.S. Senate.
